Arrests And Searches
  All States
The police had a warrant to search my home, but they never knocked or asked to enter or showed the warrant. The first thing I knew was the door shattered and they burst in. Aren't they supposed to announce first? Their report said they knocked first, but they lied. I know the judge will believe the cops, not me? What can I do?

Maybe there is. Sometimes the physical evidence is inconsistent with the officers' story. I agree that in a swearing contest, the police will win, unless you have clear physical or independent evidence that does not boil down to your word. You should talk to your lawyer about the physical damage and perhaps have an investigator look the place over. Also, is there a chance of neighbors having seen what happened and being willing to testify?
