Yes. Juveniles are subject to the same maximum sentences as adults. Juvenile courts are trying to rehabilitate and punish the minor. Generally, the actual length of the sentence is not the same as an adult would receive if the minor does well in the program. If the minor keeps getting into further trouble, then you could be locked up for a long time.
