If I am temporarily detained by the police, can they take my photograph?
Taking a photograph is similar to taking something from you under the law of some states. In other states, the answer could be "yes." The police are generally not allowed to take photographs of juveniles unless they have been lawfully arrested or detained. Once again, do not physically resist but do not consent to having a photograph taken. If your photograph is used later to implicate you and was not lawfully obtained, you may be able to suppress the improper use of your photo.
