Parole Probation
  All States
I have been on probation for two and a half years and have done well, but soon after my plea bargain, I did miss one monthly report. I thought I settled that with my P.O., but now that I tried to get a date with his daughter, he wants to violate me. What can I do?

Try to solve this problem without getting into the abuse of authority issue if you can. Some states have a time limit on filing a motion to revoke probation. The mere fact that he waited two years to try to violate you may be enough to get the motion dropped. See your lawyer on this. If it is dropped, then you have to decide whether you can stick it out till probation expires or whether you can have your lawyer apply to the chief probation officer to re-assign you based upon the personal issue between you and the P.O. The other thing you can do is use better judgment than to try to date the daughter of someone with such power over you.
